Squirrel cottage is a 16th century property full of beams and character, forming part of a traditional Devon long house, situated in a quiet location near to the church, in the village of Woodbury. This popular cottage is ideal for families or groups due to the split-level accommodation.
We would like to say how much we enjoyed our short break at Squirrel cottage the cottage was lovely very cosy and exceptionally clean. We would not hesitate in booking with you again.
Upstairs there is a light and spacious double bedroom, a pretty single bedroom and cloakroom. Downstairs there is an additional ground floor twin bedroom and a family bathroom which is useful for guests with limited mobility. There is a charming traditional sitting room and farmhouse kitchen that looks out onto a sunny walled courtyard garden. This cottage welcomes dogs. There is parking for one car in a quiet cul de sac.

Woodbury is a popular village with pretty church, a local shop and two friendly, traditional pubs. An ideal base to enjoy countryside walks as the open spaces of Woodbury Common are within easy reach whilst Exmouth beach is approximately 10 mins drive.
