This charming cottage is part of a converted monastery in the popular village of Otterton. The cottage is ideally placed near to the River Otter with easy access to the delightful countryside and coastal walks.
What a beautiful cottage - one of the nicest we've ever been to - and what a beautiful part of England. Thank you also for the warm welcome and the goody basket.
This split-level cottage has been architect designed to offer all the modern comforts whilst retaining its charm and character. On the ground floor there is an attractive double bedroom, an airy bathroom and large eat-in kitchen. The light and spacious sitting room has a lovely vaulted beamed ceiling and traditional wood-burning stove. A small patio to the rear is accessed from the kitchen with table and chairs and there is a further bench to the front of the property in the small cottage garden to enjoy the sunshine. There is off-road parking for one car. This cottage welcomes dogs.
We have really enjoyed our stay at the Old Granary this week. It is a lovely cottage situated in a beautiful part of the country. The welcome basket was a real treat. Thank you. The Old Granary is 'home from home' and we are sad to be leaving.
Otterton is a popular, picturesque village. The cottage is situated near to the church with easy access to both country and coastal walks. Budleigh Salterton – a pretty, unspoilt pebble beach – is approximately 2 miles and the sandy beach of Exmouth is approximately 10 mins drive.
